Frosh Orientation

Frosh Orientation [frahsh·orree·in·tay·shon] n. archaic an official period (approximately three days) before the start of Fall term wherein incoming Freshmen (Frosh) voluntarily arrive at the University early to participate in events designed to orient or to introduce them to academic and campus life while getting to know their classmates, advisers and University staff; a head-start program. --- also, simply called Orientation.   See NSO.
