OV [oh·vee] n. Orientation Volunteer, a current student who volunteers to arrive on campus early before the start of Fall term to help steward incoming Freshmen (and other new students) during their orientation period; one must apply and be selected for the post. *pl., OVs [oh·vees].   See NSO.
