Physics Tank

Physics Tank [fih·zix·tank] n. a large lecture hall inside a water tank (an above ground well or cylinder) shaped building off the Main Quad; the stage/platform and lectern were at the bottom of the tank with seating layered at an upward angle from there, the topmost row being the proverbial "nosebleed" seats furthest away from the lecturer; the term applies to both the actual building and/or the lecture hall within.
