ProFroHo

ProFroHo [pro·froh·ho] n. Prospective Freshman (Frosh) Host (ProFro Host), a current student who volunteers to host a prospective student (See ProFro) in order to show him the ins and outs of campus life; this "hosting" might occur during the official University event in the Spring (See Admit Weekend) or unofficially via private arrangements. *also var., Pro Fro Ho. *note: the double-entendre implied by shortening host to ho (hoe, as in a garden tool) is the same usage of the word hoe in pop culture vernacular, that is "someone who sleeps around indiscriminately" ---it was a well known fact that some students saw the job as an opportunity to introduce themselves to a new "dating" pool.
