CS
CS [see·ess] n. 1. Computer Science, the major and discipline. 2. Cardinal Service, a Stanford program fostering opportunities for students to work and serve in communities around the world. 3. Continuing Studies, a community outreach educational program which offers courses (some free) on various topics and subjects, no-Stanford affiliation required to register, courses open to the general public unless otherwise specified --- taking to heart the adage that learning should be a lifelong pursuit! *usage note: context or a request for clarification determines of which "CS" one is speaking.
